In 1931, Hocheng Chiu started a small pottery workshop in a small town in Yinko City Taiwan. Back then, nobody could predict that his little family business would eventually become the internationally renowned HCG, manufacturer of bathroom fixtures with plants in China and the Philippines. Now his grandson and YPO member Scott Chiu is responsible for carrying on the legacy and determining the company’s future. In this episode, Scott Chiu, chairman of HCG Co. (China), shares his insights on running the family business and managing a team of 1,000 employees in China.
