YPO member Terry O’Connor has quite an unconventional story. At 17, he dropped out of school. At 20, he  married and became a father four years later. At 32, he became managing director of electronics and furniture mega retailer Courts, the largest electrical, IT and furniture retailer in Singapore and Malaysia with more than 80 stores in the region. By 40, Terry was promoted to the Group Chief Executive Officer of Courts Asia. Today, this Englishman is one of the most recognizable and quotable corporate leaders in Singapore.
