Episode 35: Erik Fairbairn (POD Point Ltd.), London, United Kingdom

“Millennials seem to really buy into having a career that makes an impact in the global scale. So they are not necessarily here for perhaps the money that maybe the previous generations were. They are really here because they see that they are having a positive impact.” —  YPO member and Founder and CEO of POD Point Ltd. Erik Fairbairn.

Founded in 2009, POD Point has manufactured and sold more than 25,000 charging stations for electric cars. Through its network of home, workplace, and public charging stations, POD Point has powered more than 12 million miles of electric vehicle motoring. But this impressive record is only the beginning. Its mission is to put a POD Point everywhere you park for an hour or more, so that anyone can do his or her part in shrinking the carbon footprint. In this episode, Fairbairn shares how you can save the planet while recruiting young talent to help achieve your mission.
