Episode 40: Aimee Gilbreath (Michelson Found Animals), Los Angeles, CA, USA

YPO Member Aimee Gilbreath started off her career studying molecular and cellular biology at Arizona University in the mid-90s. After a four-year stint doing biotech research for Motorola from 1996-2000, she went back to school to obtain her MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

After graduating in 2002, she joined the Boston Consulting Group as a consultant before ascending all the way up to principal in the company’s healthcare practice. While Gilbreath found much success in the consulting world, she was ready for a change. So, in 2008, she joined the Michelson Found Animals Foundation, Inc. as Executive Director, becoming the company’s first employee. Since joining, she has helped transform it from a one-person organization to one that now boasts more than 70 staff members and hundreds of volunteers around the world. More importantly, the operation has helped provide thousands of pets around the world with the love and joy missing from their lives. In this episode, Gilbreath shares how we can do our parts in saving pets and enriching lives.
