Episode 59: Pablo Sardi (Crusardi), Bogotá, Colombia

After YPO member Pablo Sardi graduated from Purdue University with a degree in business management, he started his career as a futures and options trader. But when his mother asked him to return to Colombia and run the family’s furniture business, he answered the call. The company, Crusardi, grew from just one store in 2005 to eight stores across Latin America, selling BoConcept furniture. BoConcept is one of the largest global retail furniture chain with more than 260 sales locations in over 60 countries around the world, but they had never cracked into the Latin America market.

Thanks to Pablo’s hard work and brilliant strategy with BoConcept, Crusardi is the No. 1 supplier of high-end furniture in Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Peru. Under Pablo’s leadership, Crusardi was awarded the best exporter of Danish brands in the world by Prince Henrik of Denmark. In this episode, Pablo shares how he helped BoConcept broke into South America and played a crucial role in the strategy team of Denmark’s largest global furniture chain.
