Episode 60: Mounir Kuzbari (Novus Aviation Capital), Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Growing up in Paris, France, in a family of aviation financiers, YPO member Mounir Kuzbari followed in their path, financing transportation with DVB Bank in New York, New York, USA. Then, Mounir returned to the family business, expanding Novus Aviation Capital to new places like Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and becoming its managing director.

But Mounir has stretched entrepreneurially beyond Novus. In 2011, he joined other entrepreneurs and founded Starbow, a Ghana-based airline which currently owns about 50 percent of domestic Ghanaian traffic, with a goal of expanding further into West Africa. As if that wasn’t entrepreneurial enough, he also co-founded two other companies in the clean energy space.

In this episode, Mounir shares how his career has taken flight in the aviation industry and what new technologies are impacting clean energy and aviation.
