Episode 66: Enrique Quemada (ONEtoONE Corporate Finance), Madrid, Spain

YPO member Enrique Quemada grew up in Spain, but he wanted an adventure. So at age 20, Enrique flew to Japan, knowing only 500 Japanese words and having no contacts.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, he found a job as a language teacher, and soon his abilities led him into banking as a customer liaison. Enrique returned to Spain for his MBA and worked his way up the ladder quickly, soon becoming a managing director. Later, he graduated from Harvard Business School’s Presidents’ Management Program.

Seeking another adventure, Enrique quit his banking job. He wanted to find a way to ease the Mergers and Acquisitions process for small and medium size companies. So Enrique founded ONEtoONE Corporate Finance Group. They now conduct business on four continents and have participated in nearly 1,000 M&A deals around the world.

In this episode, Enrique shares how he uses company values to bring consistency and instill a culture of excellence into all of his employees in each of their offices worldwide.
