Yossi Yovel, who heads the Bat Lab for Neuro-Ecology at Tel Aviv University, spoke with CNBC at the 2018 YPO EDGE in Singapore about his research with bats. His team is hoping to use the research to find a way to train a group of small robots to work together and communicate using only sound.
