Episode 69: Anthony Farr (Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropy), Cape Town, South Africa

YPO member Anthony Farr was born and raised in South Africa. After graduating from college with a degree in finance and accounting, he joined the international corporate finance team at the London branch of a South African bank. The bank transferred Anthony to Johannesburg. But after a chance encounter with a group of orphans, Anthony realized his true passion — combating the orphan crisis in South Africa. Since that fateful day in 2001, he has dedicated his life to the potential of others.

In 2005, Anthony became the founding CEO of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation. The foundation seeks to alleviate poverty by identifying entrepreneurial talent in young children, and then creating a support system that remains with them into adulthood. At any given time, the foundation supports 750 students.

In this episode, Anthony shares how he finds hidden talent in young adults and help them develop to their fullest potential.
