7 YPO Companies Named to 2018 CNBC Disruptors 50 List

From e-commerce to cybersecurity and Bangalore to Santa Barbara, seven game-changing YPO member companies were recognized on CNBC’s sixth-annual Disruptors 50 List. The list highlights private companies in a variety of industries whose innovations are changing the world.
No. 13: Payoneer – Yuval Tal
Payoneer, founded by Yuval Tal in 2005, empowers global commerce with its innovative cross-border payments platform. The New York City-based company has more than 1,000 employees in 14 offices around the world. Tal joined YPO in 2011.
No. 19: Ezetap – Bobby Bose
Based in Bangalore, Ezetap is India’s leading mobile payments company and financial technology provider, co-founded in 2011 by Bobby Bose, a YPO member since 2015. According to CNBC, Ezetap’s software is used by more than 200,000 merchants in India and processes more than USD135 million in transactions monthly.
No. 27: Crowdstrike – George Kurtz
A YPO member since 2016, George Kurtz is President, CEO and Co-Founder of CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity technology company highly recognized for its cloud-driven approach to stopping breaches. Its Falcon platform has established a new standard in helping organizations stop breaches, extending beyond malware to prevent advanced targeted attacks regardless of their origin or technique.
No. 39: Uptake – Brad Keywell
As an industrial artificial intelligence software leader, Uptake‘s products combine the cutting-edge insights produced from artificial intelligence with information gleaned from the physical world, helping the world’s leading companies move smarter and faster. Co-founder and CEO Brad Keywell joined YPO in 1998.
No. 42: Coursera – Jeff Maggioncalda
In 2017, Jeff Maggioncalda, who joined YPO in 2004, became CEO of Coursera, the world’s largest online platform for higher education. According to CNBC, there are 30 million users accessing the site, which offers more than 2,400 courses in areas such as business, social sciences, math, language and computer science from more than 160 top schools, organizations and industry partners.
No. 45: Fanatics – Michael Rubin
A YPO member since 2004, Michael Rubin is Founder and Executive Chairman of Fanatics, the global leader for licensed sports merchandise. With exclusive licensing deals with the world’s largest leagues and sports brands, the company is changing the way fans purchase team apparel through an innovative, tech-infused approach.
No. 48: Apeel Science – James Rogers
James Rogers, Ph.D., a YPO member since 2017, is Founder and CEO of Apeel Sciences. The Santa Barbara, California-based company is fighting the global food waste crisis using a sustainable approach to the world’s growing food demands. Rogers leads a team of award-winning scientists in developing plant-derived technologies that naturally keep fruits and vegetables fresh longer so less is wasted.
