Episode 82: Aaron McArdle (RoomReady), Bloomington, Illinois, USA

YPO member Aaron McArdle is from Normal, Illinois, USA, and began his career as an electrician. But, Aaron saw a market opportunity in designing AV technology for companies, so he bought that part of the business from his employer and turned it into RoomReady.

Today, RoomReady is one of the leading companies on conference AV and technology. They own two U.S. patents and have clients such as Nike, Charles Schwab and Stanford University.

RoomReady was the first company in the world to receive a “Cisco Compatible” designation for their integrated room solutions, and it is one of only three groups worldwide granted “Cisco Preferred Solutions Developer” status.
