Secrets of Co-Leading A Family Business

In recognition of Siblings Day, YPO speaks to two brothers and YPO members, Fred and Pascal Mouawad, who, along with their brother Alain, are leading their fourth-generation family business.

Since its inception in Lebanon in 1890, Mouawad has become one of the world’s leading luxury jewelry designers and watchmakers.

In 2010, for the first time in the company’s history, the leadership reins were handed over to three sons who are co-guardians of the brand.

The vision and endeavors of the Mouawad brothers have led the brand’s reputation for excellence to touch new heights with new Guinness World Records and tight connections with A-list celebrities.

In the following video, Fred and Pascal share their insights on running a business with siblings and the challenges of keeping a fourth-generation family business innovative.
