The YPO Global Pulse focuses on gathering insights from chief executives around the world on the topics that influence businesses and drive leadership decisions.
YPO is an independent organization with no inherent bias or issue-advocacy agenda. Our Global Pulse survey is statistically relevant across the globe and not focused on a single country, industry or type of business. Because we do not focus on just the largest companies, our survey of chief executives provides perspectives across a wider portion of the global economy.
The 2020 YPO Global Pulse Survey focuses on chief executives’ perspectives on the importance and challenge of securing stakeholder trust.
Although chief executives today recognize the importance of stakeholder trust for business success, they also report that building and maintaining trust is no easy task. Competing priorities, lack of time, and lack of alignment within senior leadership threaten the effectiveness of trust-building efforts. And although chief executives are personally working hard to build and maintain employee trust, only one-third report that their businesses have defined specific plans and processes to build and maintain that trust.

Innovative chief executives define, measure, and scale trust, within and outside of their organizations, with determination and enthusiasm.
